Yesterday, Mo Rocca and the CBS Sunday Morning met Cecilia Chiang, the San Francisco restaurant legend credited with bringing Chinese food to America. Chiang is also the subject of a feature-length documentary this fall.
During the fun CBS segment (video below), Chiang reveals to Rocca that she can still eat 30 potstickers in one sitting (!). Rocca even asks her if she eats Chinese-American dishes.

In recalling the story about how she brought authentic Chinese cuisine to the States, Chiang also reminisces on some of her bygone Polk Street restaurant’s more famous clients, like John Lennon and Freddie Mercury, though she calls out how Jack Nicholson and Frank Sinatra were particularly big tippers.
